The experience was fabulous. It’s lovely to stay at a property that was equal to its listing.
We would have loved to have stayed longer.
The only suggestion I would leave that may add to the experience is a squeegee. A bucket of water and a squeegee would have allowed us to clean the windows on the balcony. The sea spray coated the windows quiet badly and at times we couldn’t see out.

We had the best time at Ava. The accommodation is superbly placed overlooking the ocean. We had our early morning cuppas sitting mesmerized by the view. We had three generations and the house beautifully accommodated that. Ava is situated close to the walking track that circuits the headlands leading down to the beach- a beautiful walk at any time of day. The kitchen had everything you could need. The beds were comfortable. We slept to the sounds of the sea. We shall be back.

We had a great stay at Ava in Falmouth. The house is wonderful. It is clean, well-appointed and perfectly located. Heidi and Claire are terrific communicators. My wife and teenaged children - demanding critics- gave the house 10 out of 10.
We really can’t put into words how fantastic Heidi’s home was. Beautiful location and its remoteness was wonderful. The property was immaculately clean and had just about every mod con you could wish for.
Weather was a little changeable but we experienced the Southern Aurora Australis one evening and our last day which we used for a rest day as we had been traveling across Australia for a few weeks was glorious sunshine so we used the lovely outdoor area to relax and soak some rays in.
Would definitely recommend stay at Heidi’s and we would if and when we return to Tasmania.

We stayed two weeks for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was wonderful! The view was exquisite, the location very secluded, quiet neighborhood, and beach access a short walk away. The house was very modern and had everything we needed for this relaxing and low key vacation.
The nearest town is 15 minutes via car and our host was very responsive with questions and requests.
We definately recommend this wonderful place!

The Ava house was stunning. It was the perfect place for our little family to have a relaxing beach getaway. The house has all the amenities we needed, and we enjoyed cooking dinners at home on a few nights. Went on a number of day trips out to the bay of fires, and Freycinet also. The view of the water from the main living area is just beautiful. The perfect holiday house!
